(i wrote this poem for a Father's day card...)
From the beginning, he was there,
Changing my dirty diapers
And shampooing my hair.
He loved me when I was good,
When I was obedient
And doing what I should.
He loved me when I was bad,
Disciplined and spanked me,
Even though it made him sad.
When I had a million questions
With more up my sleeve
He taught me a lesson.
Just with answers, be not content
Look for the truth
And until itís found, do not relent.
When by problems almost conquered,
With no one to tell
Except for the one man who heard.
And now to a loving Heavenly Father I can relate,
Because of this man who showed me
An earthly fatherís love, instead of hate.
